I started my Persian carpet business with my brother in 1979 in the Teheran rug bazaar in modern day Iran. We had a small but bustling shop that attracted tourists from different parts of the world who liked to visit the bazaar. After the revolution in Iran in early 1979, tourists no longer visited Iran and my business died. So I decided to leave the country and I moved to the United States to start over.
I am now a proud citizen of the United States having lived and worked here for over 35 years, including in Illinois, Texas and Oklahoma. Rug shows first brought me to Tulsa in 1991…and the beauty of Green Country, and its kind and hospitable people, made it easy for me to stay and make Tulsa my permanent home for over 20 years now. I love Tulsa, as well as my customers throughout Oklahoma and in other neighboring States. So please visit my shop to view a wide variety of quality carpets, both old and new. And if you have a carpet in need of repairs, I can help you with that too.
Hope to see you soon!
